Comprehensive Radiological Diagnostics at Impladent

To ensure complete comfort and maximum precision in treatment, our clinics are equipped with diagnostic imaging laboratories. Thanks to advanced equipment, every stage of treatment is carefully planned and monitored.
We use a Carestream 9600 CT scanner, which produces three-dimensional images at the highest resolution with minimal radiation exposure. Scans can cover either the entire skull or a selected area—always tailored to the patient’s needs and treatment plan.

Imaging Diagnostics – What Tests Do We Perform?

CBCT scan—the most accurate method of dental diagnosis. It allows treatments to be planned with an accuracy of one-hundredth of a millimeter and minimizes the risk of complications. It is indispensable prior to implant, surgical, orthodontic, or endodontic treatment.

OPG panoramic X-ray – a panoramic image of all the teeth, the upper and lower jawbones, the maxillary sinuses, and the temporomandibular joints.

Cephalometry – a specialized examination used in orthodontics that allows for the analysis of the spatial relationships between the facial bones and the teeth.

Digital dental X-rays—high-magnification images of a single tooth. Taken in the dental office without interrupting treatment, they allow for monitoring of every stage of endodontic therapy.

Dental CT Scans in Gdańsk – Precise Diagnostics

Dental CT scans at Impladent guarantee the highest quality of diagnostics. They allow for precise imaging of bone structures, tooth roots, and surrounding tissues. We particularly recommend this examination prior to:
implant treatment,
dental surgery,
orthodontic treatment,
endodontic (root canal) treatment.

CBCT scan ensures complete safety and effectiveness of treatment—patients can be confident that every stage of therapy is precisely planned.

Your most frequently asked questions

Is a dental X-ray safe?

Yes, dental X-rays are safe and do not have a negative effect on the body. During a dental X-ray, the radiation dose does not exceed 1 µSv, which is roughly the same amount we are exposed to while watching TV for an hour. The state-of-the-art X-ray diagnostic equipment used in dentistry ensures ideal imaging precision with lower radiation doses. In addition, patients are provided with a protective apron.

How long does it take to get an X-ray?

The test takes a dozen or so seconds and is completely painless.
