How does Invisalign® work?
Orthodontic treatment with aligners involves wearing custom-designed aligners made of flexible SmartTrack® material. The aligners are nearly invisible, comfortable, and easy to use. The patient receives a set of aligners to take home and replaces them on their own every 1–2 weeks, wearing them for 20–22 hours a day. This keeps the number of follow-up visits to a minimum.
At our clinic, we begin the entire process by digitally scanning the mouth with an iTero scanner. We then use the ClinCheck software to create a detailed treatment plan that allows you to see the expected results even before treatment begins. Invisalign® works well for both adults and teenagers.
